Group classification at BSO BOON

Basic Groups

At BSO BOON the children will be taken care of in a Basic Group. A Basic Group is a Fixed Group in which the children are being assigned to, but it is not connected to a physic room. In this way it is possible that more than one basic groups can be together in a big room. It is for the children and the contractors clear which room will be used for the Basic Group.

Open Door Policy

BSO BOON is divided in different rooms and uses an open door policy. This means that the children have enough room to play everywhere, with children of their own age or anybody else, and in any of the rooms of the BSO BOON settlement with whoever they want. In all rooms for the Basic groups they play with all ages.

Here are the same rules being practiced. The children have again all the available room to play in and, moreover they will meet also other known and unknown friends to play with.

Groepen

At BSO BOON we have six Basic Groups  divided in 2 categories by their age.

The groups are called the MINI’S and the MAXI’S, the only difference is the age of the children. Children from 4 to 7 years are considered to be part of the MINI’S and the children from 7 to 12 years are considered to be MAXI’S. If children are 7 years of age but young for their age they will stay for a short period in the MINI’S, if they are more mature for their age it is possible to let them go to the MAXI’S earlier.
