Invitation to the Open Parent & Child Afternoon – BSO BOON
The summer vacation has flown by, and the new school year is already just around the corner next week! We hope the children enjoyed it as much as we did. In any case, we look back on a sporty, fun, and above all, successful summer vacation at BSO BOON.
And perhaps you’ve been wondering: Will there be another fun Parent & Child Afternoon this year?
The answer is: YES! And this year, we’re making it even bigger! As a thank you for the trust our parents and children have placed in us, we’re organizing an event on:
Thursday, September 17, 2026
from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
OPEN Parent & Child Afternoon at BSO BOON!
And when we say OPEN, we really mean open: everyone is welcome! Our current BOON children and their parents, as well as brothers, sisters, grandparents, and parents and children who are curious about BSO BOON and would like to come take a look, play sports, and have fun.
Together, we’ll make it a fun and active afternoon, featuring, among other things:
- Sports and recreational activities;
- Inflatable play structures and other fun activities for kids;
- Music;
- Delicious snacks and drinks;
- A great photo opportunity in one of our real BOON buses;
- And, of course, plenty of opportunities to get to know BSO BOON and each other better.
In addition to all the fun, we’d also like to use this afternoon to show who we are, what we stand for, and where we’re headed.
BSO BOON is growing. Demand for sports-oriented after-school care continues to rise, and our waiting list is growing along with it. That is why we are currently exploring options to further expand our current location and/or open a second location in the future.
We have also invited representatives and council members from the municipality of Amstelveen this afternoon. This will give them a firsthand look at what makes BSO BOON special, and we look forward to discussing the future of sports-oriented childcare in Amstelveen with them.

We therefore cordially invite you to join us for a wonderful afternoon. Does your child usually not attend on Thursdays? No problem: you’re still welcome to join us starting at 4:00 p.m..
